¹³ because we^(A) are going to destroy this place. The outcry to the Lord against its people is so great^(B) that he has sent us to destroy it.”^(C)

³³ “We are not stoning you for any good work,” they replied, “but for blasphemy, because you, a mere man, claim to be God.”^(A)

² But in the third year Jehoshaphat king of Judah went down to see the king of Israel.

¹⁹ And my God will meet all your needs^(A) according to the riches of his glory^(B) in Christ Jesus.

⁶ Then they went to Joshua in the camp at Gilgal^(A) and said to him and the Israelites, “We have come from a distant country;^(B) make a treaty^(C) with us.”

²² The men replied, “We have come from Cornelius the centurion. He is a righteous and God-fearing man,^(A) who is respected by all the Jewish people. A holy angel told him to ask you to come to his house so that he could hear what you have to say.”^(B)

⁶⁴ Yet there are some of you who do not believe.” For Jesus had known^(A) from the beginning which of them did not believe and who would betray him.^(B)
